Ecc. 11:3 1 He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end.
As christians, we have friends and family that need to come to Christ, to let Him into their hearts and save them from their sadness, loss and disappointments. This verse tells us that EVERYONE has a longing for God. They know something is missing from their lives, some purpose they are seeking but cannot find. But God knows what it is. And Jesus tells us in the story of the lost sheep (Luke 15:3-7) that He will go and find each person that is lost until all of His people have entered the Kingdom of Heaven where they belong.
So that means you, my dear friends, should pray for your friends and family, so that they will come to know Him like you do. I don’t know if it will be through you or if God will help them see Him in some other way But seek His counsel so that you will be in His will and in line with His plan to let those around you into the Kingdom with you!
there’s something missing in this picture. there are lots of beautiful daises, hydrangeas, nysturiums and shrubbery. i see some pots and a stand to put them on, but nothing planted in them. and the stand is empty. it’s a beautiful setting but just doesn’t seem right because something is missing. just like my sentences are not right because there are no capital letters.
God knew us before we were born and knows every hair on our head. He knows how each day will unfold and knows the best plan for our lives. So wouldn’t our best plan be to ask our Creator and the One who loves us more than we can even imagine what we should do with our lives? Blessings to all…
