Keep Christ in Christmas

I know it’s not even Thanksgiving yet and I’m talking about Christmas. But hey, at least wasn’t talking about it before Halloween like some stores were putting out Christmas stuff next to the Halloween decorations! I’m talking about it because after Thanksgiving it’s the next thing on most people’s minds. This year all my kids are gone, adults now and on to bigger and better things. I’m so proud of all of them, they are in college or some type of tech school and doing well. But that means that me and their dad are moving on to a new life of our own.

I don’t know where you are at in your life but this Christmas I hope you are first seeking God and putting Him first, before all the gifts, decorations, who wants what and trimmings. Matthew says that if we put Him first everything else will fall in to place. God has given me the gift of writing and He helps me put words on the page (for me and) for others to share His wisdom. I have just published a devotional called “Keep Christ in Christmas.” It’s 10 minutes for 21 days and will help keep your focus on God this Christmas. Each day includes:

  • scripture

  • a short devotional

  • questions to contemplate and use for spiritual growth

  • Gift-giving homework ($0-$20)

Thanks so much for being a part of my community and hope you return to soon. The book is at
