Why do I write “4” God?
- He created us. On the sixth day God created man and woman in His image. Psalm 139 says He knit us together in our mother’s womb, His workmanship is marvelous and every day is recorded in His book. And for that gift I want to honor Him in everything I do.
- He loves us. God’s love is everlasting and never ending. His love for us is MUCH deeper than the love we have for each other. So it’s more than we can imagine. I write to tell others about His love as a way to love Him in return.
- He forgives us. First John 1:9 says, we only have to ask Him and He will forgive us. I know as I’m sure you do about the guilt we feel when we have done something wrong, whether it is something against the law or something that has hurt another person. But all we have to do is ask and He will send our sin into the Sea of Forgetfulness. He will forget about it and so should we. So I write to make sure others know this.
- He put us on this earth to love and encourage each other. We are here first to love and serve God. But also to love and help each other grow closer to Him. And so I pass lessons God has taught me onto you, my friends in Christ
I write so that others will know the love of God like I do. I have been depressed on and off most of my adult life. But God loves me no matter what I have done or circumstances I have been through. I write this blog so that others will know God loves them too. I use verses in the Bible to encourage them to “seek His Kingdom” and stay close to Him.
My name is Stephanie Mounier (pronounced moon-yeah). My life revolves around my family which is my husband of 22 years, and five kids ages 26 to 18. My family is the most important thing to me but after that I love to read, write and create beautiful things with my hands. Now that most of the kids are out of the house, I am writing this blog and also christian fiction and non-fiction books. I have been through enough in 25 years as a Christian and love to share my wisdom with others. Read my blog and books for examples of my writing. If you need someone to speak to your western Washington or Oregon Women’s Ministry or church group email Steph at firstname.lastname@example.org. Topics I speak about are on Steph Speaks Page.
